An analysis of the economic sectors such as business, trade, and services reveals that the gaps and overlaps in productivity are caused by lack of strategy. As such, one of the primary focuses is to create a basic strategy that will accomplish two main functions, that is, close the gaps and overlaps in productivity as well as within the structures that enhance competitiveness. It is crucial to define fundamental strategies as they serve as the basis in achieving an organization’s objectives and can ensure success regardless of the prevailing circumstances. Any organization that lacks a definable and clear direction is bound to suffer failures or setbacks.
